PEWSEY Vale were unable to stretch their winning run to five games as they went down at Ringwood Town last weekend.

Nick Maggs’ men went ahead in the first minute as Danny Kilderry and Tom Ritchie combined to set free Kias Bonner-Shea, who raced clear before tucking the ball home.

But after Ritchie went close to doubling Vale’s lead with a header, Harry Morgan struck to restore parity in the 38th minute.

Phil Midson then took advantage of some uncertainty in the Pewsey back line to net Ringwood’s second before the break .

Despite creating a handful of chances, Vale were unable to find a second half leveller.
