MALMESBURY Victoria notched up a second successive 3-2 victory as they triumphed over local rivals Fairford Town last weekend.
Boss Gareth Davies, a former Fairford player, saw his Vics side take all three points thanks to goals from Matt Cooper, Ryan Welland and Chris Jackson.
Meanwhile, Wootton Bassett Town set up a Hellenic League Challenge Cup semi-final trip to Brimscombe & Thrupp this Thursday evening by cruising past Cheltenham Saracens.
Kyle Rigley scored twice from the penalty spot whilst Jason Milhench was also on target for Jeff Roberts’ Bassett, who ran out 3-0 winners.
In the Sydenhams League Division One, Tom Ritchie was on target as Pewsey Vale drew 1-1 at Team Solent whilst in the Toolstation League Premier Division, Dan Sibley turned match-winner on his first Melksham Town start as his goal handed Darren Perrin’s men a 1-0 win at Ilfracombe Town.
In the First Division, Chippenham Park stretched their winning run to four matches as they won 1-0 at Ashton and Backwell United, courtesy of Adam Shipman’s goal.
A brace from Dan Sloan saw Devizes Town get back to winning ways with a 2-1 triumph at Cheddar
