FOOTBALL: New referees wanted
11:03am Wednesday 31st October 2012 in Football
HOW many of us have ever watched a football match and then afterwards thought they could have done a better job than the match referee?
The Wiltshire FA are offering budding officials the chance to take up the whistle themselves with a new training course for referees, which will begin on Friday November 23 at 7pm at the Wesley Road Club in Trowbridge.
Application forms to enrol on the course can be downloaded from the Wiltshire County FA website (http://www.wiltshirefa.com/referees/how-to-become-a-referee).
Applicants should submit their application forms to the Wiltshire County FA at least two weeks before the commencement of the course and also advise the course tutor, Phil Senior, of submission of their applications by telephoning 01225 754892 or by e-mail at pdcms@sky.com.
