BAYDON-based eventer Flora Harris and her horse Bayano have lost their place in the Great Britain squad for the FEI European Eventing Championships after a drop in form.
The British Eventing senior selectors have decided to substitute the pair ahead of the upcoming championships at Blair Castle, held between September 10 and September 13, following the horse’s poor performance at the Eventing CICO3* Nations Cup event in Aachen,, where the pair retired during the cross country stage.
The selectors have decided to replace them with Tom Jackson and Waltham Fiddlers Find, owned by Ian and Sara Jackson.
In addition to the substitution, Izzy Taylor will now ride her direct reserve horse, Mr Guy Avis’s KBIS Briarlands Matilda, at the Championships after Allercombe Ellie was found to be lame in Aachen.
