CHIPPENHAM Town have secured the signing of midfielder Chris Allen on a permanent deal from Bath City.
Manager Mark Collier wrapped up the signing this afternoon, with Allen going straight into the squad for tomorrow's Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division trip to Stratford Town.
Allen, 26, initially linked up with Chippenham last month as Collier covered injury worries, the duo having worked together at both Swindon Town's youth set-up and Swindon Supermarine.
Allen has made 86 appearances for Bath City, scoring 11 goals, although he had been restricted to just three substitute appearances for the Vanarama Conference South side this season.
