CALNE'S Liam Dawson has retained his place in England's 12-man squad for the second Test against South Africa, which gets under way at Trent Bridge on Friday.
Hampshire spinner Dawson claimed the plum wicket of South Africa's Hashim Amla, then claimed the match-winning dismissal of Morne Morkel as England clinched victory in the first Test at Lord's by 211 runs yesterday.
Former Goatacre player Dawson turned one up the slope in his first over to pin Amla leg before later having Morkel caught by Keaton Jennings as the tourists, chasing an unlikely 331 for victory, succumbed to 119 all out in their second innings.
