CHARLIE Slade turned in a virtuoso performance as Chippenham romped to a 243-run success over Swindon in the U13 Division One.
Slade smashed a superb 169 as Chippenham amassed a huge 352-4 in their innings.
Matt Billett added 71 and Alex Christopher an unbeaten 57 before Slade turned in another superb effort with the ball, taking 2-9 in four overs, as well as three catches and a runout, as Swindon were dismissed for 109.
Sarosh Khan played a starring role in Purton’s 88-run success over Cannings/Potterne. Khan cracked 56 with the bat in his side’s 161-8, while Callum Flay added 33 and Jack Clarke 24.
Sean Montgomery took 3-14 in seven overs for Cannings, while Will Pembroke took 3-12. Pembroke then hit 12 in the reply, but Khan was again to the fore, taking 4-12 in seven overs, while Burraq Imran took 3-8 in three as Cannings were all out for 73.
Josh Stanley took 3-13 and Ed Bollen 3-10 as Corsham bowled out Burbage for 47 in their clash before storming home to an eight-wicket win.
In U13 Division Two North, unbeaten centuries from Sam Singha (102 not out) and James Young (101 not out) helped Wootton Bassett to 248-2 against Malmesbury.
Malmesbury were dismissed for just 16 in reply, Dale Evans taking 3-4 from four overs.
Corsham claimed a winning draw over Calne, Flynn Day scoring 62 of their 124-3, while Theo Todhunter added 22. Sam Liles hit 51 in Calne reply of 112-6 as Tom Swain took 2-22.
