Robson Taylor, Chippenham Sunday League Premier Division pacesetters Biddestone Social preserved their five point advantage over defending champions Corsham Centre A after both side picked up two victories in four days.
DIVISION TWO:
The top of the table clash in Division Two featuring the leaders Cooper Avon and second placed White Hart Combe which had all the makings of being a classic never lived up to expectations.
PREMIER DIVISION: The race for this season's premier division title of the Robson Taylor, Chippenham Sunday League might not hinge on the outcome of the result of the Biddestone Social verses Miller Sports match as Biddestone still have Westbury Rangers A to play twice and Corsham Centre A once.
DIVISION THREE: AFC Bell who reached the summit of Division three after their 3-2 midweek success over promotion rivals Pheasant FC thanks to goals from Nathan Moffat, Gareth Evans and Jonathan Couch jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire when they played hosts to fierce rivals AFC Melksham at Green Lane, Devizes.
WILTSHIRE SUNDAY CUP FINAL:
Corsham Centre's quest to become the first side from the Chippenham & District Sunday League to lift the Wiltshire Sunday Cup for a second time ended in success at the weekend when they defeated Swindon League side New Century WMC at the home of Wootton Bassett FC.
PREMIER DIVISION: Leaders Biddestone Social were without a game and with second placed Corsham Centre A in Wiltshire Sunday Cup action, Westbury Rangers A kept the pressure on both teams with a comfortable victory over Semington Rovers.
