A crowd of around 100 watched a keenly contested press to print sponsored Eric Hughes Knockout Cup Semi-Final between Devizes based sides AFC Bell of Division Three and last season's runners-up, Crown Cosmos, at a blustery Jubilee Fields in Bromham.
DIVISION TWO:
Having beaten their nemesis Crown Cosmos last weekend it was almost a case of after the Lord Mayor's show for Division two leaders Cooper Avon came close to undoing their good work when they were held to a 4-4 draw away at Bremhill View Social Club.

PREMIER DIVISION:
The battle to avoid the drop from the Robson Taylor, Chippenham League, Premier Division is starting to look as if it will be as fascinating as the race will be to finish as champions. Maud Heath Sports who had not won since they defeated Bradford News in October boosted their own chances of beating the drop as they ended their seven match losing run with a surprise but welcomed 3-1 victory away at Winsley who had beat them 7-1 in November and had been expected to the same again as Maud Heath had not picked a point from any of their previous six matches on the road. Andy Townsend side ended their away day blues but having falling behind to an early penalty from Neil Kirkpatrick, which was awarded after Mike Little had fallen over dramatically in the box Maud Heath must have feared another loss. Ali Duncan's excellent free kick from 20 yards out restored parity for the visitors before the break. Maud Heath took the game to their hosts in the second period andDarren Holcombe gave Maud Heath them they lead and they wrapped the points up thanks to Holcombe's second of the game which came from the penalty spot, Holcombe saw his first attempt save by Winsley's keeper Mike Thorpe but it was ordered to be retaken after encroachment from Little and from his second bite of the cherry Holcombe made no mistake as he made certain the points returned back to Calne.
WG PARR TROPHY:
All four quarterfinal ties of the Westernsport Trophies sponsored WG Parr Trophy had upset written all over them and although teams from the lower divisions had been tipped to produce surprise results, none of the underdogs could actually come up trumps and the draw for the semi finals will be made up of teams from division one.
DIVISION TWO:
With the leading three sides in Division two missing out on a league fixture, everything remains the same at the top of the table. Cooper Avon and Crown Cosmos who were battling out of a knockout cup semi final spot remain first and third respectfully with Bremhill View Social Club sandwiched in the middle of them in second place.

point gap of their nearest rivals at the top of division four, Rangers head

points and are now having to play catch up against an Rangers side who look
unstoppable at the moment.
