Chippenham Town boss Adie Mings believes Luke Prince will become invaluable in the climax to the season.
The Bluebirds have captured the versatile midfielder on loan from Salisbury for a month after a spell at Bath City was cut short.
In order to accommodate Prince's wages Jake Reid has joined Yate Town for a month, where he has previously spent time on loan.
But Mings is delighted to bring the 27-year-old Prince to Hardenhuish Park, who will be available for tomorrow's Southern League Premier Division trip to Merthyr Tydfil.
He said: "He has big game experience and his knowledge how to play in those kinds of games will be invaluable for the team.
"He has been instrumental in Salisbury's last two promotions from our league and Conference South. He has a lot of experience and a lot of quality.

"He can play on the left, the right or up front and is another good offensive addition to our squad."
Meanwhile Mings has loaned Reid out for a second time after a spell at Mangotfield earlier this year.
He said: "Jake has gone to out to play football again and to keep on top of his fitness."
