Chippenham Town boss Adie Mings has confirmed that he expects Lewis Powell to be out for the remainder of the season with the broken leg he sustained in Saturday's draw with Cambridge City.
The unfortunate striker, who turned 22 earlier this month, broke his fibula as he stretched for a loose ball less than a minute into last weekend's clash and had to be taken to Bath's Royal United Hospital.
Powell is due to have the injury re-assessed on Thursday but the Hardenhuish Park boss expects his forward, who netted ten goals in six games earlier in the campaign, to play no further part this season.
