The route
The route

Registration is now open for the Chippenham Half Marathon.

The Gazette is supporting the Chippenham half marathon, which last took place in 1996. It will be resurrected on September 14 with up to 1,000 runners expected to take part.

To help you get ready, The Chippenham Harriers have designed a training program.

To ensure you get the most out of the training plan follow the guidelines, do not do too much too soon and at the first sign of an injury stop training and seek medical advice.
