Dear all, .
Scunthorpe United are the lions to the slaughter this week…..let's hope that the Town players come out roaring like big cats and not mewing like little kittens. I have a feeling that they will have a huge motivation to get in a good display and prove they'r unaffected by all the off field activities.

I found a program from back in 1986 but honestly can't remember playing them then, before or since (thankfully I didn't travel up to Scunthorpe for the 6-2 hammering in 1985…..I hope Saturday is more memorable….for all the right reasons! That 6-2 defeat was the last time they beat us as we've Won 3 and Drawn 3 since then and our home record is equally clean as they've NEVER (and will not this time) beaten us at the County Ground with 5 Wins and 5 Draws…win number 6 coming up on Saturday!!….or will they beat the odds and ruin our weekend!?
