There is only one Jay Wray, you will never know our depth of gratitude for what you have done, tried to do, and strived to achieve, nobody could have done it better.

Here, here Wizard, my sentiments exactly. Jeremy may you prosper in whatever you do, and I think you will be remembered with great fondness fo what you have done for our great club. You will be greatly missed. I really hope there is nothing untoward in all of this that we ( the fans ) will pay dearly for.

Good luck Jeremy.

Shame to see Wray go. When it comes to chairman with out a shadow of a doubt, hes the best chairman weve had in the 20 off years ive been alive.

Thank you Jeremy, everything you've done for the club is greatly appreciated

Taking away the fans appreciation of Wray, and the disappointment to see him leave the club - If the man putting the money into Cardiff can change the colour of their home shirt, the man putting the money in can change the chairman if he feels appropriate.

I would like to hear from Black his reasoning, but I'm not sure thats going to happen.

Looking forward tho, I don't think there are many with a better CV than the new guy. He's got massive boots to fill whichever way you look at it.

I just want a sucessful club on and off the pitch.

My only fear is the future of PDC.

Tyhe club clearly had a fall back plan in the case of J wray being replaced, I would start considering a managerial contingency plan.... PDC is a man of his word and loves it here, but he is working to a plan and is also peeved about the transfer embargo...

No - not likely. As with all 'official statements' there's more left unsaid than said

If supporters want to do more than watch helplessly from the sidelines they need to join Trust STFC and play an active part, not just leave it to someone else.

Whilst Wray is to be applauded for his tenure as Chairman, under whatever psuedonym, I feel that this statement from his successor in itself reveals much.
.
If his appointment is indeed a move to try and help secure additional investment and the stadium redevelopment sooner rather than later, I boldly predict there'll be no complaints from the fanbase as/when that happens.
.
Hard for many to see past an emotional response to the news, but my opinion is that this is the right move for the immediate short term issues that the club want to resolve, namely the two mentioned above.
.
Maybe, just maybe, JW was not the man to see that through. Not a criticism of him as an individual, but maybe the reality of things as they stand.

Firstly I would like to thank J Wray for his commitment, hard work and clear passion over the last couple if years. All town fans will be sad to see him leave.

Mr A Black is the majority shareholder and without this guy we probably would not have a club, and one that's on a real high at present. We need to all support his decision and welcome the new chairman as I'm sure with his wealth of knowledge and contacts we could really see further investment and the country ground redevelopment.

I wonder if the The co founder of betfair (Edward Wray) which is Jeremy's brother knew anything about this?

The most important thing is what happens on the field and that is what Wray was so passionate about. Terrible loss in my view. Following on from one of the best Chairmen in the history of our club, Patey will have his work cut out to succeed. I hope I have to eat my words but how likely are we to get 2 fantastic Chairmen in a row?............ I don't expect Black would take a bet on it!!!
