FOOTBALL: Midweek matches hit by the weather

MELKSHAM Town's trip to Street tonight has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Dave Clayton's side beat Portishead Town in the Les Phillips Cup last weekend and are without a fixture next Saturday, with their next scheduled clash set to take place on October 20, when Gillingham Town visit the Conigre.

Bradford Town's away trip to Chard was also a victim of the weather last night, but Devizes Town's home meeting with Cribbs Friends Life was still scheduled to go ahead, as was Wootton Bassett Town's Hellenic League Division One West meeting with Purton.
