FA TROPHY: Wait for Bluebirds after opponents' replay clash postponed

CHIPPENHAM Town will have to wait to find out who their opponents in the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy will be after Sholing's first round replay clash with North Leigh last night was postponed.

A floodlight failure at Hampshire side Sholing's Silverlake Arena meant that their decisive meeting with Oxfordshire outfit North Leigh was called off.

Sholing and North Leigh drew 2-2 on Saturday and their re-arranged Trophy replay is set to take place next Wednesday (October 10) but that clash could be delayed once more if either side require an FA Cup third qualifying round replay with either Yate Town or Blackfied & Langley respectively, following this Saturday's fixtures.

Nathan Rudge's Chippenham are set to host Sholing or North Leigh in the Trophy on Saturday October 27.
