I said the Omens were good and had a really good feeling about the result exactly as per the Stoke game…funny but I didn't get the same feeling for Orient so maybe I should swap careers!?
.
What a great result…they had their chances early on and it could have been a very different game had Austin put away his first chance but a really solid display saw us looking like the only winners for much of the match. I have to say that once we get the ball on the ground we play a style of football which is fantastic to watch and must be incredibly difficult to defend against as there are simply so many options.
.
I quite enjoyed singing "It's a long way back to Burnley" to the tune of Long way to Tipperrarry….or however you spell it…..to the Burnley cars as I queued up to get out of the Cricket club car park.

Some excellent scoring on Tuesday - am a bit worried about the fact that we haven't seen or heard of Blownme soxoff; EastleazeRed; Eyeless47; Is that you Lovesey; MrClick and Wurzleday was worried about Bromham but he's posted this week.

NewburyMike not only leads the battle of the Newburys but has taken over at the top of the Premier League with 52pts leaving prior leader Samster93 occupying 2nd place 2pts back on 50pts.

OxonRed's big scoring week lifts him into 3rd and onto 48pts for a Champions League slot and into real contention for top spot this weekend) with Airframe-dtm holding 4th on 47pts. (Dazin you need to get some points and quick).

The other two Europa League slots are occupied by Roy Carter and Bondy54 - both on 45pts so only 7pts off top spot!

Wanborough Red leads the Championship on 35pts just one ahead of RedGollum on 34 - both looking to get into the Premier League as per Steve.Brentford (you'd better watch out Steve...I gained ground on you yet again this week!!) with Stokes_stfc also climbing into the elite league.

Not only have I been one out on previous preductions, the curse strikes again.
I predicted 3-2. I did think that Burnley were going to come at us stronger than they did and run a closer contest. I found myself actually willing Charlie to pop another in after Troy scored.
I also predicted that we would draw another Claret and Blue team in the 4th Round. Unfortunately, the Hammers didn't make it into the pot.
So another 8 or 9 points go begging.
Don't talk about the Shrews match 1-3 preduction, where did that come from. Still, at least SAP heard the same voices. 1-3 indeed!!!
Fun, though it is, its not the Predictions that matter, JUST the results on the pitch.
Going to lie down in a darkened room now and listen to Kylie ....
