Can anybody tell us what the injury problem is with Troy Archibald-Henville?

Williams is definitely one for the longer term - great pace and fitness...he'll be scoring sooner rather than later.

We haven't won in the last 4 and with only 2 wins in the last 11 meetings it is becoming one of those "Oh dear it's them again.." teams...but given the state of affairs at both clubs this season you'd be mad to back against us if we turn up and play OUR game despite the fact they'll probably look to soak it up.

NO idea on Troy - Thought it was just a knock but seems to be more than that.

Williams for hatrick on Dat, do like effort he puts in.So as all posts have said he will score sooner or later and reckon he will score many many goals for us

High praise for Andy Williams ands he deserves it. He is a great player just with his all round contribution to the team and once he starts scoring as well he will be one of our stars. Rate him very highly. Would love to see Bostock, Ferry and Miller start tomorrow but don't know how we would fit them in, possibly Bostock playing up front with Williams as second striker? Can't see what all the fuss is about, lost a few games so what? This team doesn't look likely to lose many this season. COYR.

Henville picked up a knee injury a few weeks ago and is officially fit but carrying out some strengthening work so that he doesn't suffer a repeat injury. Hopefully Ward will be the next to be sidelined...terrible signing!

Williams has nothing to worry about. A very good all round player and the goals will follow soon for sure.

Williams is the next town striking legend in waiting, no doubt about this, following in the footsteps of jan age after his initial dry spell.

Totally agree - how many "fans" went to Wembley last year, judged Bostock and McEveley on one game (for some the first and possibly last game they'd ever bothered to go and see) and called them awful players based on that performance.

Similar situation with Ward, smaller stage maybe but a very intense atmosphere, first game in a town shirt and maybe didn't shine, but is that enough to write a player off entirely? I don't think so. Even the best players have a bad game now and again. Ward's record would suggest he's not as bad as people make out.

Still, why listen to the views of the managers that have signed the players, I forgot we're all experts on here - that's why we're talking about team selections on the internet rather than managing in real life...

Support the team, yes - want to play manager, play it on your PC :p

Maybe Rooney would deserve a try on the right if Ritchie is not fit but can't wait until Roberts comes back as between him de Vita and Ritchie we should be ripping these defences apart!

Totally agree 1984 - comments like that are ridiculous and also how can one wish for a player to be injured - that is just discraceful!!!!!!!

Ward has over 400 games - with at least half of them if not 3 quarters in either the Championship and the Premiership

He has also won player of the season at Millwall twice - so is hardly "the worst defender ever"
.
Yes he may have had a poor game - but that doesn't suddenly make him a bad player
.
It can't be age either as the review from the Millwall fan on the washbag had him as MOTM in the cup this season for them
.

Just fely he did the basics very badly; poor first touch, poor ability to rod of the ball, even if it was just a hoof - it tended to land in dangerous places, and let's be honest, he caused Flint to stumble over. Communication break down admittedly, but for someone of his experience, I was hoping for better. I'm not a 'derby' or 'big match' only fan. At home games and a fair number of away when possible. Would never write him off and everyone is worthy of a second chance. I'd say that he has to have a cracking game if he starts tomorrow if he's going to convince the manager and most fans.

Fair enough, the "sidelined" could be construed as hoping for an injury though, although I'm sure that wasn't the intent - no football fan wants a player to get injured, least of all their own. Anyway, we're all on the same side, a fact which gets forgotten far too often.

Enjoy the game tomorrow :-) Don't think it'll be a walkover by any means but fancy us to turn the corner.

Have not seen him play but it does not matter what he has done over the years you are only as good as your last game.

You made such a good point with Ward and then made a mockery of it with Risser in the next statement...come on LR you cannot by your own admission compare the 2 on a level pegging!?

Even Risser was a fans favourite for several games before his odd bad moment started to show and after 8 - 10 games we saw a warrior and a cleaning lady in alternate games....Ward as you have stated has only played a few minutes....so where is the comparison.

Just to underline I agree with the sentiment of don't jusdge a player on 5 minutes but it isn't JUST STFC fans who do that - just visit all the other sites and you'll see a mirror image of our comments.

just to be clear Adam Rooney is a striker not a winger? He was brought in as a striker surely, his goal record at inverness was excellent.

Id take 1-0 win tomorrow with the players we have missing at present. we should still have too much for orient at home hopefully.
