Anyway, rant over. I remain 100% behind the team and will be making the trip to watch us thump the scum on weds!

I love Wes but he was out of order and according to talksport on twitter he is a real big head and needed to be brought down a peg or two, if you went to preston you could see he was ignoring pdc and blaming the defenders for his mistakes pdc warned him told him to calm down he ignored it and we went 2 -0 down so pdc subbed him. we do not moan if we sub an outfield player for being awful do we we scream to have him taken off so what makes a goalie any different? So to all you anti pdc brigades i shall say only this i hope you will all be proud of yourselves when we are back in league 2 cause you will only have yourselves to blame.

Paolo should remain as long as possible, he's great for the club and also for non-Premiership football. He is entitled to sub a player in the first minute if he wants to.

Don't agree. He's not bigger than the club. Simple as that.

No-one is talking about a return to the old days and the drinking culture but there are a number of good managers who would be happy to inherit a good squad and a Board with the ambition to rebuild the CG.

I for one ain't going to be told what to think and just because people criticise Paulo's behaviour doesn't make them disloyal or unambitious for the club.

Paulo has done some good things here and at times provided top class entertainment. As for his approach to man management, the big question is whether it's sustainable or not.

Obviously, none of us know what's gone on behind the scenes today to sort this out but I read with interest Wray's press release over the Caddis affair. I didn't get the impression he was entirely happy with that and wonder if he's happy with this one?

I just don't get this idea that if we are unfortunate enough to lose PDC, we are likely to end up with a bad manager and get relegated. Where is your faith in the board? They are the reason PDC is here. I like to think they are more likely than not to get it right again next time. I want PDC to stay and enjoy more success with us, but if he chooses to go the club will go on - unless the investors pull the plug of course.

I think what worries a lot of people is the thought that they could again get it wring because prior to Paolo their track record hasn't been good and without speculating on any possible successor Pdc is a hell of an act to follow.

You might recall I took a lot of flak for voting with my feet during the Wilson plummeting and not going to games era and stating I'd go again when we were in the championship. It is solely down to Pdc that I started to go again when I realised something special was afoot at the CG and have continued this season. However I don't think I'm alone in wondering if the bubble will burst if Pdc goes because undoubtedly it is his passion his ideology his belief that he has instilled throughout the club that has got us to this level of excitement and belief. Can that same level be maintained and improved on by A N Orher I have my doubts im afraid.

I accept all that, but I just don't think anyone should be tiptoeing around every issue for fear of upsetting him. The only thing we know for sure is that he's going to leave one day anyway. I have a lot of sympathy with southsider's post. Go and support Oxford? Just because you have the temerity to disagree with the manager? PDC knows d@mn well that is the most offensive thing he could say to many Town fans. We all love his passion and the life he has injected into OUR club. But it is not about big Paolo Di Canio and little Swindon Town, which is the impression he's conveyed in his recent interviews. He has every reason to be grateful to the club for giving him his first opportunity in management - a very good opportunity at that - at a club punching well below its weight and with plenty of resources to build a team. . The board/investors are moving the club forward apace. It will keep moving forward whether Paolo Di Canio is the manager or not - and I do hope he will be. . Right. Steve the community thing I did not agree with and I should have made that clear . However I do agree that we should not say that all is O.K just because he's said sorry.The only way he can redeem himself is by putting in good displays on the pitch.

People learn from role models and it has to be remembered that Paolo wasn't the best role model as a player.

I still think mushy is talking complete and utter crap, Al can you tell me what is good about some fool suggesting Wes gets Community service,which is laughable in itself as that is dished out in a court not an annoyed football manager i'm pleased to say,sorry mate i always read your posts with respect and when we meet up i respect you are knowledgeable about football matters but for you to agree with this Oxford/Millwall troll, well i'm shocked really.

Steve the community thing I did not agree with and I should have made that clear . However I do agree that we should not say that all is O.K just because he's said sorry.The only way he can redeem himself is by putting in good displays on the pitch. Same goes for Di Canio, he doesn't come out of this completely covered in glory. People learn from role models and it has to be remembered that Paolo wasn't the best role model as a player. Great player yes ! but behaved like a spoilt kid at times and as a youth he was a football hooligan and he was playing in his youth team at the time lol. Lets get all this sh1t behind us and get back to winning ways. Just off to do my community service now !
