FULL-TIME Stoke City 2 Swindon Town 2 (Extra time being played)

SWINDON Town and Stoke City’s Capital One Cup clash has gone into extra time after the two sides drew 2-2 after 90 minutes.

A James Collins brace had given Town a 2-0 half-time lead, but Kenwyne Jones and Jon Walters scored after the break to level things up for the Premier League team.

Town have performed superbly throughout as the pace of Andy Williams caused the home defence problems, and they have been more than a match for their Premier League hosts over the 90 minutes.

HERE ARE THE KEY MOMENTS FROM THE MATCH

Six minutes: Matt Ritchie whips in a teasing cross which Matthew Upson has to clear to deny James Collins.

Eight minutes : Tommy Miller drives a shot straight at Sorensen.

13 minutes: Town create the game’s best chance as Ritchie breaks the offside trap, but he pulls the ball back just behind Collins and the ball is scrambled out for a corner.

18 minutes: Raffa De Vita drives narrowly wide after skipping away from his man on the edge of the area.

20 minutes : The home side have their first shot in anger as Cameron Jerome turns and fires in a volley, but his effort is straight at Wes Foderingham.

21 minutes: Stoke continue to press and after Pennant gets free down the right, Kenwyne Jones rises highest but heads over the bar.

23 minutes : The pace of Andy Williams is causing all four Stoke defenders problems, and a neat turn allows the striker to burst into the box before the ball bobbles to Collins who knocks it just wide.

24 minutes: Pennant’s ball back across the box presents Stoke with the best chance of the match, but Jerome and Jones get in each other’s way as the ball bobbles wide.

26 minutes GOAL 1-0 TOWN (Collins): Raffa De Vita takes a short corner to Jay McEveley, and after Sorensen fumbles the full-back’s cross, Collins is on had to knock home.

36 minutes: Williams turns superbly but his drive is straight at Sorensen.

39 minutes: Raffa De Vita pounces on Alan McCormack’s cross-field ball, but Sorensen scrambles his shot behind.

40 minutes GOAL 2-0 TOWN (Collins): Raffa De Vita drifts in a corner and Collins rises highest to head home.

41 minutes: Town have Stoke on the ropes as Williams breaks once again, and after he pulls the ball back to Collins the striker is denied a hat-trick by a goal-line clearance.

45+1 minutes: De Vita fires against the post with the final kick of the first half.

HALF TIME

46 minutes: Geoff Cameron is the first man to go into the referee’s book.

49 minutes: De Vita wriggles free in the box again, and it takes a combination of Robert Huth and Dean Whitehead to block his shot.

52 minutes: Alan McCormack goes into the book, and from the free-kick which follows Pennant shoots straight at Foderingham.

54 minutes: Michael Kightly cuts inside and fires high and wide.

61 minutes: Kightly again shoots high and wide.

63 minutes GOAL FOR STOKE (Jones): The home side pull one back as Foderingham comes to punch a Kightly cross, doesn’t get there, and is beaten to the ball by Jones.

70 minutes: Town are starting to get stretched by their hosts, the Swindon squad’s fitness could prove very important here.

73 minutes: Simon Ferry comes on to replace Raffa De Vita.

77 minutes: Stoke show their intent as they throw on Peter Crouch, Jamie Ness and Jon Walters for Jerome, Jones and Ryan Shotton.

83 minutes: Williams chases a lost cause into the area, and Sorensen only just beats him to it to force it out for a throw. Seven minutes to hold on.

85 minutes GOAL FOR STOKE 2-2 (Walters): Aden Flint and Alan McCormack tangle, and Walters is on hand to slot under Foderingham.

90 minutes: Town are forced to scramble off their own line before Crouch heads wide as they hold on in search of extra time.
