UHLSPORT HELLENIC LEAGUE DIVISION ONE WEST: Malmesbury Victoria 0 Fairford Town 2

MALMESBURY suffered their third derby defeat in eight days as their search for an opening league point went on.

The Vics started the brighter of the two sides and only a great save from the Fairford keeper denied Steve Bunting from scoring the opener.

Ant Packer also went close after good work by Chris Salt., but Fairford struck back and on the stroke of half time, Shanon Pocock lobbed home the opener.

Malmesbury started the second half full of running but it was Fairford who went further ahead in the 53rd minute when Nathan Gambling got on the end of a rebound to tuck the ball home.
