Hope we don't get Burnley my home town team.As a Town season ticket holder I would have root for the team where I was born and supported for 15 formative years.Trouble is Town have bragging rights over Burnley.Dont mention 1969 and all that !!!!!!

Lovesey, where do you live in Brum. I once met another Swindon fan in Homebase at Selly Oak, was that you?

I'm a Red stuck in West Brom country. All the kids I teach are Baggies fans so would love to get them home or away.

Yes, I'm in Bowral, but we spend our time between Tetbury Gloucestershire and Bowral.
We are leaving for the UK on 30th August. Looking forward to seeing four matches before we return to OZ.
Where are you?

I'm over near Picton, so not too far up the road. There do seem to be a few Oz supporters around; perhaps we need a local supporters club?!

Believe it or not we did start a STFC OZ supporters club back in the mid 1980's, but then there were only a few of us in Sydney so it never got off the ground.
Could be there are more of us these days and may be worth trying again.

Saw my first Swindon match in 1961 and was a season ticket holder until late 1970's. Emigrated 1984 but still love the town and go back as often as we can. See about 7 or 8 matches a year.

In the mid sixties there were often 100 + supporters travelling by train to the "home" games which entailed a 60 mile round trip in a packed rail-car.
Those were the days!
As a kid we walked up from the station via Manchester Road without a care for our safety, but I don't feel the same way today.

They are not in the draw for this round, so we will have to wait to meet them in the next round once we get through this one.

Change of subject.

Unless I have missed a thread (easily done) it doesn't look like the Predictions League is going to be run again this year. A shame because SAPFan did a great job.

Old Stager has already posted this before, but there is a great predictions League at UKFPL http://www.ukfpl.com where each week you have to predict 10 scores across the Prem and Football league.

Good result last night - Williams looked great. (Bodin who?)
