TALENTED teenager Will Bissett picked up a few tips from former British number one Tim Henman and youngest-ever junior number one Ollie Golding last weekend as he got the chance to show off his skills at Wimbledon.

The 15-year-old, from Poulshot, won last year’s Road to Wimbledon 14 and under boys’ singles championships and his prize was a playing session alongside Henman and Golding on Court 14 at the All England Club on Saturday.

Bissett, who plays at Devizes Tennis Club and trains at the Lawn Tennis Association’s International High Performance Centre at the University of Bath, said: “We were on for about an hour-and-a-half and it was really good to see what a young player like Ollie Golding is like on court and transfer some of what he does to my game.

“Tim Henman was there feeding me balls and it was nice to have a chat to him. He handed me my trophy when I won last year.

“I’ve been to Wimbledon a few times before and part of my prize was also to watch Roger Federer against (Julien) Benneteau on the Friday, which was amazing.”
