BRADFORD v SWINDON: Thompson handed start

PAOLO Di Canio has handed Nathan Thompson a start for Swindon Town against Bradford this afternoon.

The young defender will line up alongside Paul Caddis, Aden Flint and Jay McEveley at the back, with Swindon Advertiser player of the year Alan McCormack left out of the squad.

John Bostock continues to support Paul Benson in attack, with Matt Ritchie, Lee Holmes, Simon Ferry and Oliver Risser starting again in midfield.

Samsung Win a Pro Contract winner Chris Smith could make his debut for the club from the bench, while Miles Storey will make his first appearance since winning a professional deal if he gets on.
