Reading threw some of Comments,a lot of the Posters need to take a hard look at themselves!for Paolo to get us Auto-Promo in his Rookie is season is superb!Win on Saturday and we are Champs!Paolo is sorting out P1ss-up gate back him!!!!!!
he may be morally right to sort out p1ssgate, personally just think he went the wrong way about it, 12 changes in 2 games, is OTT, 6 points gifted to the opposition by fielding under strength sides, biggest defeat of the season so far says it all really, it cannot be a good move to lose games just to make a point of who is right and all the blame seems to be at the players.

There will be many that don't agree with my point of view, but as someone else said we have been lucky, thanks to Stanley drawing with Shrews we limped over the line for promotion instead of storming it and the fact we still have a chance to win it is a bonus.
Paulo's objective was to get promotion AND win the title, it is his job to pick the best players available to do that. He cut his nose off to spite his face and the result is 6 points lost and 5 goals conceded. The biggest loser this week IMO is the fans.

He and the players need to get their differances sorted this week and hopefully we will see the team play next week that took us to the top of the league, nothing less than a win against Vale will be good enough unless of course for those that are happy to be a runner-up
There's no differences to sort out with the players!they were wrong, should have waited to party,Paolo's made a stand, they all should have put there hands up and said sorry right from the start, one win or two draws and we are Champs!I hope the Gamblers win there dosh when we are Champs, now the real hard work starts,a lot to do to be ready for LEAGUE ONE!!!!!!!"

HALF TIME: Gillingham 1 Swindon Town 0

A DANNY Kedwell goal has given Gillingham a 1-0 half time lead over Swindon this afternoon.

The striker connected with a Charlie Lee long throw to head the ball past Phil Smith after 25 minutes.

Town started much the brighter and dominated the ball for most of the half, and created a number of good chances.

Alan Connell and John Bostock combined well in attack, and both players had decent efforts which were straight at Paulo Gazzaniga.

But the home side took the lead against the run of play, as Kedwell connected with Lee’s throw to loop a header over Smith.

After going a goal down Town continued to have much of possession, but could not find a way through.

Paolo Di Canio’s team were lucky not to be 2-0 down, as first Liam Montrose thundered an effort against the bar, and as the ball was worked back into the box, Chris Whelpdale should have scored but his header went wide.

Torquay and Crawley are both drawing at half time meaning Town will be promoted if things stay as they are, but with Shrewsbury winning there is still work to do to secure the League Two title.
