I'm sure the headlines takes it away from the fact that you took Connell off instead of the useless Murray.
We wasnt lions we were A poor team on the day,
Rooney and Holmes look very poor, and nothing to offer upfront , full credit to the defence, even tho they offered as much as macclesfield.
Spoke to some bloke on the way home and said we need a 25 goal a season scorer, dream on name me 1 player who will score 25 in this league yet alone in div 1?
Looks like paolos destiny looks like the bowland ground
    Onwards and upwards
PAolo I trust do you ?
Did you actually watch the game??? The 1st half was the best we've played all season!! Holmes was one of our better players! We were not a poor team on the day! I really do give up with some of these negative comments!
Best first half lol all season ? One shot on goal.
Is that the same Holmes who couldn't cross a ball?
Also my first negative post all season, in fact not negative post but a true honest post
    Onwards and upwards
True Honest Post? You have got to be kidding me! Here's a quote from PDC (In who you trust!!).......&quot
    ;
;The first half was our best of the season. We absolutely dominated and we created a minimum of four clear chances and seven or eight potential chances.

"If we play like this then we should score but today it didn't happen.
Now I repeat did you actually go and watch the game or just listen to the radio??
the keeper never had a save to make, and that is the fact.
Murray wouldn't score in a brothel. Connell should have stayed on. Bodin must be recalled, de vita for Holmes every time,
    Onwards and upwards
E-I-E-I-E-I -O to the bookies we must go. When I get my winnings this is what we sing we are Swindon we are Swindon paolo is our king
I am sorry I didn't realise I was communicating with a child...no point arguing with you then is there if thats the sort of intelligent response you normally give!"

Di Canio - My players were lions

PAOLO Di Canio took heart from Swindon's performance against Bristol Rovers, despite the Robins being held to a goalless draw.

Town had plenty of huff and puff but were unable to find a way past Rovers' keeper Scott Bevan.

Alan Connell hit the underside of the crossbar in the first half while substitute Paul Benson headed just wide of goal.

The draw brought to an end an impressive winning run in league on home soil, but Di Canio believes more performances like today's will ensure Swindon win more than they lose before the season is out.

"We had 11 lions out there with discipline and desire," he said.

"It was a fantastic game, but we just couldn't keep it going for 95 minutes.

"I am happy, but I would have been happier with the three points.

"We can't win every game but we are talking about a team who are top of the league with games in hand."
