  • "Before all the cynical idiots and Poxford fans posing as the blessed faithful come on here and express there negativity...

We are top.. with games in hand.. We've struggled this season in derby's.. yet we still got a point today.

We should not be arrogant and expect this season on a plate... just look at 'big' teams like Plymouth and Bradford. Or Portsmouth and Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday - dropping through the leagues after one relegation season. Even West Ham are wobbling significantly now. It is not a divine right to go back up as champions - the boys and Paolo have worked hard to get us where we are.

I totally agree that we need a 20-25 goals a season striker... however, there is the summer break to sort that one out.
We have the makings of a double promotion winning side here... let's stay positive and get behind the boys.

    WE ARE GOING UP!!

Di Canio - My players were lions

PAOLO Di Canio took heart from Swindon's performance against Bristol Rovers, despite the Robins being held to a goalless draw.

Town had plenty of huff and puff but were unable to find a way past Rovers' keeper Scott Bevan.

Alan Connell hit the underside of the crossbar in the first half while substitute Paul Benson headed just wide of goal.

The draw brought to an end an impressive winning run in league on home soil, but Di Canio believes more performances like today's will ensure Swindon win more than they lose before the season is out.

"We had 11 lions out there with discipline and desire," he said.

"It was a fantastic game, but we just couldn't keep it going for 95 minutes.

"I am happy, but I would have been happier with the three points.

"We can't win every game but we are talking about a team who are top of the league with games in hand."
