THE Swindon Advertiser has teamed up with Checkatrade, official title sponsor of the Checkatrade Trophy, to offer five lucky fans the chance to win a pair of tickets to Swindon Town’s Checkatrade Trophy group-stage clash with Newport County on Tuesday, September 11.

Town will be aiming to get their Trophy campaign back on track after suffering a 4-0 defeat to Chelsea’s U21s outfit earlier this month and you can be there to watch all of the action live.

Newport also proved a thorn in the side of the Wiltshire side last season, claiming a 1-0 win at the County Ground last November - courtesy of former Swindon player Ben Tozer’s goal - and completing a League Two double with a 2-1 win in south Wales in April.

These two last met in this competition back in September 2015 when Town progressed 7-6 on penalties in Newport after a 1-1 draw.

For your chance to win, simply answer the following question

Q: Which former Swindon Town player scored the winner for Newport County when the two sides met at the County Ground last season?

Send your answer, plus name, address and contact number to Swindon Town Tickets, Sportsdesk, Swindon Advertiser, Unit 1&2, Edison Park, Swindon, SN3 3RB.

The closing date for entries is noon on Wednesday, August 29.
