CHIPPENHAM Town could be without Will Puddy for as long as four months after receiving the diagnosis on the goalkeeper's knee injury.

Puddy missed Saturday's 4-1 home defeat by Welling United and last night's 2-1 win over Truro City with the problem and saw a specialist earlier this week.

He is now expected to begin a course of treatment, with his recovery possibly taking as long as four months.

Town drafted in Swindon Town goalkeeper Will Henry on a short-term loan last week, the youngster featuring against Welling and Truro.

Goals from Will Richards and Nat Jarvis secured Town's first away win of the National League South season against Truro at Torquay's Plainmoor ground last night.
