The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

One to watch: Conor Gallagher

FEW players can say that they have won a World Cup for their country, but Chelsea Under 21s midfielder Conor Gallagher can.

The 19-year-old first joined Chelsea while aged six and has since made several starring roles for the club at a range of age levels.

He signed his first professional contract last year and has impressed the Chelsea management, namely when scoring the winning goal in the Under 18s league decider against Reading in 2017.

Since then, Gallagher has improved in the central midfield role and featured as part of the England U17s squad that won 2017 FIFA U17s World Cup. Expect plenty of pace, energy and sparks of creativity from this rising star.

Key battle: Scott Twine v Richard Nartey

RICHARD Nartey is one of few Chelsea youngsters that can claim to have a back-up of experience against senior opposition having appeared in Checkatrade Trophy fixtures against Yeovil, Exeter and Lincoln last season.

It’s possible Swindon Town’s own youngster Scott Twine will start tonight’s match, and it will be a timely test for the teenager - who was forced into making a quick transition from non-league football to the Football League last spring.

While not afraid to make a dashing run, some fans have questioned Twine’s ability to match opposition players physically. Tonight will provide a good test.
