HEAT leader Tobiasz Musielak insists Swindon Robins must quickly move on from tonight’s crushing 55-35 loss at the National Speedway Stadium against Belle Vue Aces.
The Robins missed out on a chance to earn a consolation bonus point following a pair of 5-1s for the hosts in the concluding two races.
Somerset’s surprise win at Wolverhampton meanwhile meant Robins lost top spot in the SGB Premiership table as the season reaches its halfway point.
Reacting to Robins’ heaviest defeat this season, Musielak said finding power is key to riding the fast and open spaces at the National Speedway Stadium.
He added: “The whole meeting for me was very disappointing, even when I changed the bike.
“The last was better for me when I changed something, but we lost the meeting and I think it’s the worst score for me at Swindon in two years.
“I have to forget this meeting and focus on the next one.
“You need so much power at Belle Vue, and we tried to look for that throughout the whole meeting.
“By time we found speed it was too late. I had a good battle with Rohan (Tungate) again but I left too much space on the inside for Rohan and he passed me.”
