MEMBERS of Chippenham’s Moonraker Gymnastics club took part in the annual Summer Sizzler competition at the Wiltshire School of Gymnastics.
Made up of three rounds, Moonraker gymnasts competed on all four pieces of apparatus in the opening round.
And it was Krystal Eavis who impressed most, picking up second spot in the Sandcastles category to place sixth overall.
Also in action in the Sandcastles category were Alisa Burton, Amber Nixon, Ruby Mire and Jasmine Eddon.
Nixon placed second on the beam and sixth overall while Burton finished ninth, Mire and Eddon placed ninth and sixth in their respective age categories.
The Sandcastles category was also targeted by Moonraker’s gymnasts in the second round with Emily Draper placing fourth on the vault, fifth on the bars and ninth overall.
Anca Minea also proved a consistent performer, finishing third on the vault, fourth on the floor and sixth overall.
Meanwhile Jocelyn Chillitupa placed sixth on the beam and seventh overall.
The third round saw Mabel Smaller, Chloe Searle and Imogen King also compete in the Sandcastles category.
Mabel was crowned vault champion of the day and placed a respectable sixth place overall while Chloe Searle placed sixth on the vault and bars, fifth on floor and seventh overall.
Lastly, Imogen King placed sixth on the bars and seventh overall.
