IT WAS a busy Sunday of representative cricket in Wiltshire.

Wiltshire's second team were in action for the first time on Sunday with a friendly against Dorset at Swanage.

Bowling first, Wiltshire impressively bowled out Dorset for just 183 with Josh Langley, James Wade, Owen Alsop and Jack Haines all picking up two wickets.

The target was easily reached as Jack Twine scored 68, Jack Haines 40 and Jack Stearman 40 not out to hand Wiltshire a seven-wicket victory.

The women’s side competed in two T20 matches hosted by Trowbridge CC.

The first was against Cornwall and saw Wiltshire bat first, only to be dismissed for a lowly 51 and then were unable to take a wicket as Cornwall reached their target inside seven overs.

The second match saw Wiltshire bat their 20 overs to post 71-7, Katherine Mills top scoring on 18.

A strong Oxfordshire side reached their target for the loss of one wicket, taken by Freya Bollen.

Elsewhere, the county girls U15s made the long trip to Cornwall where an excellent bowling performance saw the hosts were bowled out for just 98 with Poppy Sladen, Katie Dolman, Libby Hughes and Anna Shearn all taking two wickets each.

In the chase, Wiltshire were outstanding as Katie Dolman with 56 not out led the team to a nine-wicket victory.

The county boys U13s ended up narrowly on the losing side against Hampshire by eight runs.

Bowling first, Wiltshire restricted Hampshire to 174-7 with Ben Howgrave-Graham taking 3-34.

The chase saw several contributions but not the big score needed to lead a successful chase.

Howgrave-Graham and Crofton Keyes ended up top scorers with 25 each as Wiltshire finished on 166 all out.

Sunday also saw the inaugural North versus South U13 district match, the North running out winners as they chased 150 for the loss of four wickets, led by Finlay Fielder's 59 not out.
