CHIPPENHAM Town have announced their third signing of the summer with defender George Rigg agreeing to join the club.
The right-back, who is manager Mark Collier's latest fresh face after the additions of Jack Compton and Yan Kuklowski earlier this week, links up with the Bluebirds after successful talks on Thursday evening.
The arrival is welcome, with Collier revealing that defender Daniel Bowman has left the club.
Rigg, who has represented both Stoke City and Bristol City, arrives at Hardenhuish Park after a stint at local rivals Bath City and Collier believes the 25-year-old will have a pivotal role to play next season.
“Having lost Dan Bowman at the back end of last season it was imperative to find a right back/ wing back for the new campaign.
"George has a good level of experience in the National Conference South and will have an important role to play in what will be another challenging season," said Collier.
