Adver Sport hand out their verdict follow Swindon Town's 1-0 defeat at home to Grimsby Town.
Reice Charles-Cook – 6
Hardly had a save to make throughout the game, yet finds himself on the losing side this afternoon.
Kyle Knoyle – 5.5
Did well in patches, but if you compare him to Hussey on the opposite flank, he did not get forward enough.
Ryan McGivern – 6 Was punished by the referee and gave away a penalty. Distributed well enough, but could have looked forward more often.
Joe Romanski – 7
Looked comfortable enough at the back for Town and didn’t seem phased by the experienced of his debut.
Chris Hussey - 6.5
Busy as always forwards and backwards, faded towards the end of the second half but remained an outlet for his teammates.
James Dunne – 6 Another one who was good in the first half as Swindon looked the better side, but struggled to get a foot on the ball in the second. Subbed.
Amine Linganzi -6 Had a good work rate throughout the game. Was guilty of being wasteful at times as an over eagerness saw him run into trouble.
Keshi Anderson – 6
Showed glimpses. But will be disappointed that he didn’t really cause a direct threat on goal. Subbed.
Matthew Taylor -6
Another one who was under par. Ended up playing all over the place in a bid to get involved in the game.
Marc Richards - 7
Had one shot which crashed against the bar, and contested everything that was thrown up to him at the County Ground.
Paul Mullin – 6
Got the ball in the back of the net, but was chalked off due to handball. Subbed.
Substitutions:
Ollie Banks (On for Dunne 55’) – 6
Got on the ball plenty of times in deep areas and looked to pass it forward but couldn’t quite have the impact he was brought on for.
Donal McDermott – 5
Threw himself into some reckless challenges and gave away needless fouls.
Scott Twine – 6
Tried hard but wasn’t able to cause too many problems as he was out muscled by the visiting defence.
