MALMESBURY racer Louis Harvey is eyeing success in the televised Superone British Karting Championship after teaming up with the Klaassen Motorsport outfit for 2018.

The 13 year old will again battle the top Junior TKM drivers in the country after being selected by Klaasen to be a test driver for a brand-new kart chassis, the Klaassen Motorport ARC Shadow.

Harvey gave it an inaugural test drive at Shenington Kart track in Banbury last weekend, Klaassen subsequently offering to support his 2018 season with a works drive, supplying him one of the new chassis along with additional support around set-up.

A Klaassen Motorsport spokesman said “We are looking forward to watching this talented youngster thrive this season both in the Super One Series and at other national events and club races.

Harvey's father Chris added: "2018 should be a really good year with the support of his sponsors and the technical expertise of the Klaassen motorsport team.”

Harvey will test the kart again this weekend and it hoping to race it at Rissingon Kart track over the Easter weekend.
