SWINDON Town’s stellar away form has not gone unnoticed by Darren Way, but the Yeovil boss believes his side have created their own feelgood factor at Huish Park.

David Flitcroft’s side have won five of their last six on the road in all competitions, stats that mark them out as the best travellers in League Two.

But while the Glovers are currently 17th in the table, only Colchester have lowered their colours on home turf and Way’s men are unbeaten in four at their own base.

Yeovil were trounced 4-0 at Carlisle last weekend but Way has few doubts they will feel more comfortable back in Somerset tomorrow.

“Their attitude has been fantastic this week,’’ he told Somerset Live. “There’s been a good response in training.

“We’re now into our home form, which has been very good.

“I think we’ve lost one game against Colchester. We’ve played Stevenage, Coventry, Chelsea. So they’re really excited.

“We look forward to the Swindon game because no doubt Swindon are bringing a big army of travelling support to the game and it’ll be a good game.”

Way, who hopes to have defender Ryan Dickson available after a concussion check but will be missing Bevis Mugabi after his red card at Brunton Park, added: “It’s about we do, that’s massive.

“What we’ve been doing at home is we’ve created a good environment, the supporters have been very, very good, we’ve lost one game I think in 10 which is a massive achievement considering the teams that we’ve played and we’ve just got to keep that going.”

He added: “They (Swindon) have got a new group, a new manager and have changed the style of football completely from Luke Williams to (David) Flitcroft.

“It’s very direct now, they’ve got runners and so far it’s been effective.

“We’ll be ready for that and we’ll make sure we do everything that we can, that we use our strengths, turn them into super strengths and keep performing like we have done at home.’’
