WITH leaders Athleticow Moodrid missing out on a game as opponents Corsham CC Wildcats were unable to raise a side, the Devizes-based side were joined on six points by Melksham Town (Sunday) who defeated Westbury Rangers 7-1.
James Dark’s hat-trick and singles from Dave Jenkins, Jordan Kirk, Ian Dowell and Sean Fordham did the damage. Derek Wheeler replied for Westbury.
A 3-0 win at FC Bradford for Somerford also puts them on six points from their opening two games.
Gary Higdon’s goal separated the team at the break, Josh Robinson’s penalty and a debut goal for Ethan Cox seeing Somerford to victory.
