WRAG Barn's Matt Mumford booked his place in final qualifying for next month's Open Championship by coming through regional qualifying today.
Mumford carded a one-under-par 71 at Remedy Oak Golf Club to secure one of seven qualifying places available from the Dorset venue.
Mumford went to the turn in one-over-par 37, but three birdies on his inward nine nudged him up the leaderboard to tied fifth.
Jack Charman, from the North Wilts club near Calne, narrowly missed out after shooting a level par 72, although he did earn a reserve spot, with Upavon's Henry Pallas a further two shots back, along with Wrag Barn amateur Jack Seaman.
Local final qualifying takes place at five venues around the country on July 4, with three places available for the 146th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale from July 20-23.
