LUKE Williams believes that it is not just Millwall’s famed physicality that Swindon Town need to be wary of on Saturday as they desperately seek a win to galvanise their survival fight in League One.

In Neil Harris, the Lions have a revered former player steeped in the club’s history at the helm, so attributes such as ferocity, passion and intensity remain very much part and parcel of the side.

However, Williams believes that the Lions also possess plenty of guile on the pitch and in Lee Gregory and Steve Morison – who have scored 15 times each this term – they have one of the best strikeforces in the division.

“I think the team represent the manager very well and you can really see the personality on the pitch,” said Williams, ahead of the game at the County Ground, which kicks-off at the earlier time of 1.30pm.

“The two strikers are outstanding. For the level, they are the perfect partnership. They work so well together and the team respect them enormously and play to their strengths.

“There is no end to the work-rate and the amount of running and the commitment. It’s what you’d expect from Neil Harris and what you’d expect from Millwall. It’s a big test for us again.

“They are going to run the hard miles and that means you get less time on the ball as they are always willing to press you. They will play forward quickly and back it up with willing runners.

“They always try to start games brightly and impose themselves on you and let you know you are playing against Millwall.

“The fans will play their part too so we need to be ready for that and that’s part and parcel of playing Millwall.”
