CORSHAM Youth picked up a second successive victory in Group B of the Gooding Accounts-sponsored Subsidiary Cup.

A 4-1 victory for James Whitehead’s top-flight team at second division The Mallard means that Corsham top the table with Semington FC left to play.

First-half goals for Ed Sibbick and Craig Gingell gave Corsham a 2-1 interval lead, Adam Foskett scoring to bring Mallard level at 1-1.

An unfortunate own goal from Jason Hudson saw Corsham extend their lead and Elliott Rivers made certain of victory with the fourth of the morning.

It was third time lucky for Oakhill and Calne BFC who, after two recent postponements due to the weather, finally got their Subsidiary Cup challenge underway.

Oakhill, who had struggled of late and sit bottom of the Division One table, upset the formbook with a 2-0 win over their table-topping stable mates.

Ishan Pantry gave them a half-time lead and a Josh Beard penalty completed the shock win.
