BOTH  of the top two sides in Division Three were made to work hard for their latest victories, with leaders Faded FC have to come from behind to beat Calne United 4-1.

Jordan Stewart’s penalty saw Calne take a deserved lead.

Dan Jones saw parity restored for Faded prior to half-time and Jake Herd, Matt Minnis and Richi Cain, on his debut, fired them to victory.

Box Rovers were given a tough test at Fox & Hounds (Warminster) who pushed their guests all the way before suffering a 4-2 loss.

Liam Fullam, Justin Flowers, Jon Bazley and James Gardner shared Rovers goals, Taylor Kitley and Jamie Kinchin replied.

North Star Club remain in third place after they defeated The Foresters Arms 3-1.

Tom King’s first-half double and Matt Law’s effort put the Star 3-0 up at the break, David Williams replied for Foresters in the second half.

Striker Nick Taylor and goalkeeper Scott Storey were the stars of the show for White Horse B as they beat AFC Rowde 6-1 who also had their second-half shot-stopper Ben Winn to thanks for keeping the score under double figures.

Chris Vaughan may have given White Horse the lead but it was Taylor’s four goals that put them in control in the opening 45 minutes.

Taylor completed his five-star display when he latched onto Clive Black’s sublime inch-perfect pass to make it 6-0 before Jordan Earley netted Rowde’s consolation.
