CORSHAM Oak ended a six-match losing run, but despite their 6-2 success at fellow Division One battlers Oakhill, Mike Hager’s side still remain bottom of the table.

Corsham, who suffered WG Parr Trophy semi-final heartache last weekend, put that disappointment behind them as they raced to a 3-0 lead before letting Oakhill back into the contest as a Joe Masson own goal.

Shamus Mooney effort cut the half-time lead to the odd goal.

After the break Corsham added three unanswered goals to run out comfortable winners.

Aaron Masson scored a hat-trick, Andy Woods netted twice and a first goal for the club from Lee Marshall made up the half-dozen.

Lavington Rangers, who reached the final of the WG Parr Trophy last weekend, were probably suffering a cup hangover at home to leaders Calne BFC who, thanks to a 5-1 win stretched their lead at the summit to four points.

Tom Richards, Jamie-Lloyd Davies, Stuart Windsor with two, his second coming from the penalty spot and Darren Holcombe meant that Cameron Lee’s goal for Lavington was just a consolation.

Jack Fisher also missed a penalty for Lavington.

FC Lacock came from 2-1 down to beat Sutton Benger 3-2.

After falling behind to a Josh Hard goal, Benger fought back to level through a first goal of the season from Luke Todd and then take the lead via James Weston.

Kieran Hard restored parity for Lacock and then grabbed the winner with his second of the morning.

FC Bradford were left kicking themselves after surrendering a 2-0 lead at Westbury Rangers, who fought back to claim a 5-4 success which saw them end a five-match losing run.

Goals from Damien Moran and Steve Bryant put Bradford two up in the opening 15 minutes.

Two quick-fire goals for Jordon Matthews midway through the half got Rangers on level terms and a first goal for the club from Mike Coll gave them a 3-2 interval lead.

Mark Maguire tied the scores on 55 minutes, Matt Mead’s penalty saw Westbury regain the lead in the 78th minute and man of the match Mark Young added their fifth on 83 minutes before Aaron Thornton scored Bradford’s fourth.
