AFTER being bottom of Division Two at the start of December, Pig & Whistle have moved up to seventh place after they made it three wins on the spin thanks to a 4-1 triumph away at Old Road.

Leading 3-0 at half-time through goals from Graham Griffiths, Shaun Heathcote and Dean Filkins, Pig made it 4-0 via Dan Moore before Matty Poole scored a late consolation for Old Road.

FC North Wiltshire were unable to stop the Dursley Arms juggernaut from stretching their winning run to 30 matches. After their thumping 16-0 win over Old Road last weekend, Joe Kirkpatrick’s side were in the goals once again as they hammered North Wiltshire 8-1.

Jake Hiscocks, Jordan Pinder, Martin Johnson and a brace from top-scorer Leon Greenland put them 5-0 up at half-time and then after the break, Conner McKay, Dan Price and a third from Greenland that took his league tally to 30 made up the eight.

Richard Tandy replied for North Wilts. FC St George went looking to return to winning ways against The Mallard but had to settle for a 1-1 draw, with Sam Byrom cancelled out Adam Foskett’s first-half effort for Mallard.
