SWINDON Wildcats’ pre-season clash away to the Bracknell Bees on Sunday will now take place further down the M4 after being relocated to the Slough Ice Arena.
Steve Lyle’s Wildcats face the Bees twice over the course of this weekend as part of a friendly double-header – dubbed the M4 derby classic – and due to problems with the ice at Bracknell’s John Nike Leisuresport Complex, Sunday’s match will take place in Slough (face-off 6.15pm).
The Wildcats host the Bees at the Link Centre on Saturday evening (face-off 5.45pm) and Adam Harding will miss the clash.
Lyle’s men won 6-3 at English Premier League new-boys Hull Pirates on Wednesday evening and faced the Manchester Phoenix twice last weekend, drawing 3-3 at home and losing 6-2 away.
