REPORTS have emerged today that Swindon Town are looking to bring Liverpool duo Kevin Stewart and Ryan Kent to the club.

The former was at the County Ground today to discuss a potential move to SN1.

Kent joined Liverpool at the age of seven, working his way up through the ranks after starting with the club's Under-9s.

Liverpool's official website describes the 18-year-old as a ‘dynamic winger who can play on the left or right side’. They add that Kent loves to take on defenders and cause endless problems for the opposition.

Kent played a part in Liverpool Under-21s' 2014-15 campaign and his age group boss Michael Beale has heaped on the young winger.

“Ryan’s had a long time out so we’re really pleased with where he’s at,” Beale told the Liverpool Echo after a 3-1 victory over Everton last season, where Kent scored twice.

“We don’t want to go overboard because I thought Harry Wilson was very good and the two lads who have obviously came back from Wigan were very good as well.”

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Stewart was snapped up by Liverpool from Tottenham last summer before the Anfield club sent the midfielder out on loan to Cheltenham Town, where he made just four appearances before being loaned to Burton, where he played seven times and scored twice.

Stewart, a converted defender, has been described as 'energetic' and 'a solid defender' who very rarely makes mistakes but can lapse in concentration at times.
