TOWN legend Jan Aage Fjortoft was back at the County Ground for the first time in two decades on Saturday.
The Norwegian’s goalscoring exploits for the club between 1993-95 made him a big hit with the Robins faithful.
He returned to Wiltshire for Town’s clash with Yeovil to be inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame.
Fjortoft provided some of the bright points of what was an overall disappointing day for Town supporters.
The 48-year blasted a penalty past mascot Rockin’ Robin prior to kick-off before delighting the fans with his famous aeroplane celebration.
After the game, Fjortoft Tweeted: “Great to be back at Swindon. Had to score and celebrate.
“Thank you all Swindon Town fans for your warm welcome. Emotional and very much appreciated.”
