Wes Foderingham: Made a good save midway through the first half to deny a deflected Greg Leigh low to his right but apart from that did not have a meaningful save to make. (7)

Nathan Thompson: Solid performance at the back with some key blocks close to the end of the match with the game stretched. (7)

Raphael Branco: Was his usual physical self at the back and sometimes sailed a bit close to the wind and deservedly booked in the second half. (6)

Jordan Turnbull: Could have had his first goal in a Town shirt had it not been for the linesman's flag. Oliver Turton caused him troubles down the Town left in the first half, often finding himself in behind the back three. However, in the second half he was key to keeping  a clean sheet with some vital blocks. (8)

Ben Gladwin (Toffolo, 61'): Was not afraid to have a shot in the first half and that nearly led to Swindon opening the scoring in the first half when Paul Rachubka failed to handle. Was far less effective in the second half before coming off. (6)

Nathan Byrne: Like usual he was causing the defence of Crewe problems down the right side and set up some good chances in the first half but was less effective in the second half. (7)

Jack Stephens: Again looked natural in that central role and moved forward well while also providing cover for his back three. His two yellow cards in the second half were arguably soft but silly nonetheless. (5)

Massimo Luongo: Continued from where he left off on Tuesday night and was very comfortable on the ball opening up the Crewe defence. I lost count of the number of shots he had blocked from the edge of the area. (7)

Louis Thompson (Kasim 72'): A quiet game by his very high standards in the first half. Was stretchered from the pitch midway through the second half with what looked like a dislocated shoulder. (6)

Andy Williams: Was the liveliest of the two strikers in the first half as was unlucky not to add to his tally when his shot was well blocked by George Ray on the line. His first touch let him down on a number of occasions. (7)

Michael Smith (Obika 84'): Had a missed chance in the first half when N Thompson found him at the near post but his shot across his body was just wide and was very quiet in the second half. (6)

SUBS

Yaser Kasim: Failed to make an impact from the sub bench (6)

Harry Toffolo: Gave Swindon a bit more width when he came on and set up a good chance for Jon Obika just before Town went down to ten men (6)

Jon Obika: Had a good chance from Toffolo but saved well but Paul Rachubka

UNUSED SUBS: John Swift, Jack Barthram, Jermaine Hylton, Ty Belford
