SWINDON Town have announced a new link Lydiard Academy that will see them move their entire development system to the West Swindon school.
The school will act as a training base for Town’s age group sides from under sevens up to under 16s. It will also host the club’s academic day release programme which sees the club’s youngster spend one day a week with the club’s coaching staff but remain within the school’s teaching system.
