FORMER Robins’ captain Hans Andersen will be back in the Kevlar of Swindon as they take on Eastbourne Eagles at Blunsdon tomorrow night.

Andersen skippered the Robins to their first ever Elite League title in 2012 and he returns as a guest for injured Danish compatriot Peter Kildemand.

The Robins also bring in youngster Jason Garrity guesting at reserve as in-form Steve Worrall is in Premier League action for Edinburgh.

Victory would move Alun Rossiter’s team back up to fourth in the Elite League table.

A good choice. Whilst Hans rides at number 1 for another of our main contenders for a play off spot, there is little choice really. Only Belle Vue, Wolves and Leicester are out of contention, and unlikely we would see Zagar or Woffinden guesting, and with Doyle seemingly prevented from guesting for anyone, who else would you turn to as a number 1. I'm more concerned at the loss of Worrall, but Garrity is a good choice if he rides to form.

I would expect Hans to be professional and ride to earn money but it seems guest can do their own thing if it impacts their own play off chances and the team they ride for but what a can of worms. Garrity is a great choice for Worrall but the way Steve is riding Garrity will have some shoes to step into. Lets hope we can get the three points but feel that even if we make the play offs I do not see anything other than defeat in the play offs with our very inconsistent team.
